We’ll travel from Belfast to Hillsborough Castle, Dublin and Kilkenny, with Dee and Kylie travelling alongside the group, joining the experiences, sharing selected meals and performing every night of the trip.

You’ll see Dee and Kylie perform throughout the trip, but you’ll also meet them over drinks, share meals, hear the stories behind the music and experience what happens when American country artists spend a few days inside Ireland’s own music culture.
And because there are only 40 guest places, the scale stays personal.
TRAVEL WITH DEE & KYLIE
They’re not meeting the group at showtime. Dee and Kylie will travel on the coach and join the experiences throughout the six days.

THE JOURNEY
Day 1 · Belfast Arrival & Opening Night
Arrive in Belfast, check into the hotel and take some time to settle in.
That evening, we’ll meet for welcome drinks and appetisers with Dee and Kylie before heading to one of Belfast’s most intimate music rooms, The Sunflower for an exclusive acoustic set.
Day 2 · Belfast, Hillsborough Castle & The Throne Room
The day begins in Belfast, with musician Brendan McCreanor leading guests into the city’s music, stories and creative life.
Later, we travel to Hillsborough Castle for one of the most special moments of the trip: a private tour of the castle, followed by an intimate performance by Dee White and Kylie Frey in the Throne Room.
It is the kind of setting most music fans will never experience this way — a historic castle, a private group and Dee and Kylie performing in a room built for occasion.

The second performance of the trip takes place inside Hillsborough Castle itself, making this one of the signature nights of The Irish Detour.
Day 3 · Dublin, Emigration & The Cobblestone
The coach heads south to Dublin, where the story deepens at EPIC, The Irish Emigration Museum. For fans of country, roots and Americana, this is not just Irish history. It is part of the story behind the music: people leaving, songs travelling, traditions changing shape across the Atlantic.
That evening, Dee and Kylie perform at The Cobblestone, one of Dublin’s great music rooms. It is the kind of place where Irish music still feels alive in the walls, and where the connection between the songs, the city and the journey comes into focus.
Day 4 · Horses, Kildare & On to Kilkenny
After breakfast, we leave Dublin and head towards County Kildare for a visit to the Irish National Stud.
We’ll spend time exploring the Stud before sitting down together for an included group lunch — an especially fitting stop with Kylie’s own connection to horses and the rodeo world.
From there, we continue south to Kilkenny, where we’ll check into our hotel for the next two nights.
The rest of the afternoon and evening are deliberately left open. Explore Kilkenny, find somewhere for dinner, head to a pub or simply take some time to yourself.
And for anyone who wants a little more music, Dee and Kylie will be playing again that evening at an optional, informal gathering in Kilkenny.
Nothing heavily produced. No obligation to attend. Just another chance to hear them play in a relaxed setting before the final night.
Day 5 · Kilkenny & the Farewell Show at Cleere’s
The final full day belongs to Kilkenny: medieval streets, the castle, the river, and a city with music tucked into its corners.
There is no scheduled group sightseeing, so the day is yours to explore at your own pace.
That evening, everyone comes back together for a farewell dinner with Dee and Kylie before heading to Cleere’s, one of Kilkenny’s most intimate music rooms.
With the travelling group in the room and only a small number of public tickets available, this is the farewell show: one last gathering, one last set of songs, and a night that will not happen quite this way again.
Day 6 · Departures
Morning coach to Dublin Airport. Guests say goodbye carrying home new songs, new stories, and the feeling of having shared something that happened only once.
